"HORSIN AROUND MULTIPLE HITCHES
We are not all work, we do enjoy the time we have to spend with the draft horses when we are not doing
jobs around the country side. These are our children and they like to get out play like us.
So we started to do multiple hitches to make things more interesting and the horses also get out and about with
each other. So we invite some friends over and try different things. Hope you enjoy the pictures.

Multiple Hitches Above the three abreast is a favorite for Berks county hayrides.

Bee Tree Trail has hitched horses here which is called a four in hand hitch, something we
are preparing to offer to the public to use as for Berks county weddings, hayrides, or parades its a beautiful
site to see the horses all dressed up and out on the town. We are practicing for a wedding in
September which pictures will be taking in the Shartlesville area and posted close to the end of
September on our making memories pages. Its good to get them out to keep them in shape and tuned up for coming events.

The four in hand hitch can be a challenge at fast speeds but so much fun.
This is a mix breed of horses we are using here Canadian Belgians on the right which also
are being shown in places like the Harrisburg Farm Show and on the left Pat and Mike our Clydesdale, Belgian crosses all working well together.

Above is a unicorn Hitch which is also a favorite hitch for Berks County weddings. If you are interested in a multiple hitch
for your event, contact us for more info.

Above is a 6 Horse Hitch or six up or an equal opportunity hitch as some would call it which is also a favorite hitch of mine. If you are interested in a multiple hitch
for your event, contact us for more info.
I want to Thank Roger Thoms of Ro-lin on Clydes of Aaronsburg Pa. who has been an inspiration of my achievements in the draft horse hitch. To watch this man in the 6 horse driving competion will give you goose bumps, my hero. Also for the fine job starting our 3yr old Belgian pictured in the four horse hitch, the right wheel horse. Look for his driving clinic's to come to your area, or call him at 814-349-5791
Let him know you found him here.
I also want to Thank Kevin Tempus farm manager of Sunny Hill Farms Myerstown Pa. for the knowledge and borrowed equipment, to help putting this all together and letting me be a part of what has been truly a great experience for me. They both are great horse man and if you would get the chance to spend time with either of them don't pass it up it could be quit interesting.
THANK YOU BOTH !
