Hi, My name is Dave, I am the owner of Bee Tree Trail Carriage & Wagon Tours.
I have worked with horses for over 30 yrs from showing saddle horses such as cutting, team Penning
,Racing Thoroughbreds, and starting young horses. In 1999 I went for a carriage ride in Allentown Pa.
and fell in love with these large horses. The sound of the shoes going down the road is so relaxing it will put you to sleep.
Talk about slowing things down and see what you have been missing. So I bought a team of draft horses to have a little fun,
well one thing lead to another, seeing how much fun it was to have other people enjoy these beautiful, relaxing rides I decided
to strat my own business. We are located in the base of the Blue Mtns just north of Shartlesville Pa. We do most of our business on the road traveling from state to state such as New York, New Jersey, Maryland, Delaware, and Ohio.
Take some time and meet the rest of my family. Hope you enjoy.
This is my wife Susie. Originally from Michigan, also has alot of time in the saddle and and driving
and showing draft horses since 1990, and spent most her life around horses. Now enjoying giving carriage rides.

And then there is Rowdy a percheron, a dapple grey and well broke also from Michigan who was also being shown. He makes a great match for Doc or throw him in the middle of mike and Pat and they do well pulling the hayride wagon 3 a breast.

Here is Bob and Mack, dapple grey percherons almost pure white and well broke also from Michigan who was also being shown as leaders in a six horse draft horse hitch. They make great horses for our cinderella carriage stand and walking proud enjoying giving carriag rides.

Doc a percheron, a dapple grey and well brokefrom Washington state a swing horse who was also being shown in a six horse hitch. He makes a great match for Rowdy or throw him in the middle of Bob and Mack and they do well pulling the hayride wagon 3 a breast.

The horses above are Dave on the left the dark percheron which will get lighter as time goes on and has beem matched with a horse called Dallas. Chet on the right a dapple grey percheron is no longer with us.

The horse on the left is doug no longer with us he was born in 1996 and died of medical problems. He is a Dapple grey Percheron which as been used in shows and has been to the nationals and done well in halter, cart and as a team. We found him in Michigan and has been used as a carriage horse to do weddings and Susie also shown him in the ladies cart classes.
On the right is Doc. He is a Percheron horse, a dapple grey. Doc was born in the Pittsburg Pa. area in 1999 and then moved to Washington
State where he was part of a 6 horse hitch. Standing at 17.2 he was the smallest and later replaced by a larger horse.
Using the internet we stumbled across him and had him shipped in. He is becoming a wonderful carriage horse and pleasant to be
around. He weighs 1800 lbs also.
No longer with us is Mike and Pat they are Clydesdale, Belgian cross horses. They are full brothers, Mike
on the left born in 1998 and Pat on the right was born in 1997. They weight about 1800 lbs and stand about 17.3 hands.
For those that don't under stand hands to measure they are about 6 ft tall at their backs.
These horses have grey manes and tails and their body color changes about 4 times a year becoming dapple grey
from their bellies down. They eat a bale of hay a day and 2 gallons of oats and drink about 50 gallons of water a day.
Mike and pat come from amish country in Ohio, they were working them farms before we got them and more then willing to do
what you ask of them.
No longer with us is Rose a Canadian bred belgian horse also raised on an amish farm. She was born in 1996, stands 17.3 hands, weighing at about 1800lbs.
Shown here in her beautiful show harness. My wife Susie has shown her in cart classes and has done well. she loves people and is now enjoying the carriage rides also. Rose is no longer with us. She is living in Michigan and is going to be shown in cart classes 2006.
This is Heidi from the kutztown area has horses all of her life and helps us out as much as she can.
Loves to drive Mike and Pat. We where at the Berkshire mall giving rides in this picture.
We can't forget Rosie and Cooper, Rosie being the one on the out side. Rosie keeps close watch on the horses and cooper keeps close eye on Rosie
I'm not sure which one I would trust to meet in the dark. Hope you have enjoyed your visit and please tell a friend !
Here at Bee Tree Trail we believe in using natural things to medicate horses or sprays even down to the hoof black which will not arm their feet.
We also have a natural rodent patrol these are our friends, rodents need a place to live also but it would not take long they would over run the place, but with Black Jack and his family they keep things under control. Our local Black snakes is as long as 6 ft.
